In the Penza region decided to expel 68 foreigners

In the Penza region from 1 to 10 October in the second stage of operational-preventive action “Illegal-2026” revealed 219 violations of migration legislation. As a result of the inspections, decisions were made on the forced expulsion of 68 foreign citizens from Russia.

According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, for ten days, law enforcement officers checked 411 places of mass stay of foreigners, as well as objects of their possible work and leisure.

The events were attended by employees of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs with the participation of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Penza region, the Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Penza garrison and with the power support of the OMON of the Regardie Department.

During the raids, numerous violations of the timing of medical examinations by foreign citizens were revealed.

In addition, law enforcement officers established violations in the activities of a construction company that provided workers with housing at their legal address, without formalizing their migration registration. At the same time, some employees of the organization were in Russia illegally.

Currently, a documentary check is being conducted against the construction company to resolve the issue of bringing it to administrative responsibility.

As a result of the operation, decisions were made on the appointment of fines totaling about 1.8 million rubles. Of these, more than 600 thousand rubles have already been recovered.

The police also made 68 decisions on the forced expulsion of foreign citizens from Russia and two decisions on deportation. At the same time, 62 foreigners are included in the register of controlled persons.

About 70 foreign citizens were denied entry to the territory of the Russian Federation.

In addition, as a result of the operation, two criminal cases were initiated under Articles 322.2 and 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provide for liability for fictitious registration and fictitious registration of foreign citizens on migration registration.

The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that work to identify and suppress violations of migration legislation continues.
