In the Penza region checked the quality of milk and dairy products
Specialists of the Penza Department of Rospotrebnadzor summed up the work for the first nine months of 2026

Specialists of the Penza Department of Rospotrebnadzor summed up the work for the first nine months of 2026. The focus was on the production and sale of milk and dairy products in the region.
In the laboratory center of FBUZ "Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Penza region" 2305 samples were checked. They were tested for microbiological, sanitary-chemical, physico-chemical, radiological and other indicators. As it turned out, 69 samples did not reach the established standards.
Violators were not ignored. For each case of low-quality goods being sold, the department took measures to suppress illegal activities. Data on such facts are entered into the GIR module of the STD and transmitted to colleagues at the location of the manufacturer.
In order not to stumble upon a low-quality product, customers are advised to carefully study the label. The package must indicate the name and address of the manufacturer, composition, weight, release date, conditions and shelf life (including after opening), as well as nutritional value. Do not forget about the expiration date in the store.
Checks regularly reveal the facts of sale of expired milk. If such a purchase has already been made, do not throw it away. It is enough to return the product to the store, where you must return the money or replace the product with fresh. If the shelf life is in order, but the product is spoiled, the fault may lie with the seller, for example, due to violation of storage conditions.
