In the Penza region will be raids “Pedestrian” and “Pedestrian crossing”
Penza State Traffic Inspectorate decided to tighten up security on the “zebras”

The Penza State Traffic Inspectorate decided to take up security on the zebras more closely. To reduce the number and severity of road accidents involving pedestrians, October 19, 2026 in the region will be operational and preventive measures “Pedestrian” and “Pedestrian crossing”.
Inspectors will catch drivers who do not pass people on crossings, as well as prevent violations of the rules by pedestrians themselves. Drivers are reminded that if there is a zebra in front of it and another car stopped in front of it, you can only go making sure that there are no people in front of it. This is important, because a significant part of accidents at crossings occurs precisely because the driver does not notice a pedestrian hidden by standing vehicles. For failure to provide an advantage to pedestrians, a fine is provided from 1500 to 2500 rubles.
Pedestrians are also reminded of care. Before crossing the road, make sure you are safe. If one car lets you through, check if the speed is slowing down or if the ones driving on other lanes have already stopped. The car cannot stop in a second. In the dark for safety on clothes need reflective elements.
State traffic inspection reminds: when crossing the road and driving along the roadside or the edge of the carriageway in the dark or with insufficient visibility, pedestrians are recommended, and outside settlements - be sure to have retroreflective objects visible to drivers. According to part 1 of article 12.29 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation for violation of traffic rules pedestrians provides a fine of 500 rubles.
