According to the vice-governor, the new route will provide transport accessibility for residents of the alluvial territories of Vasilievsky Island. The line will be serviced by modern trolleybuses with increased autonomous running - they are able to move without connecting to the contact network.
The route will run from Kazan Cathedral to Golovnin Boulevard. Since the new line more than 80% duplicates the route of trolleybus No. 28, the last one is closed from today.
Convenient public transport is one of the 10 priorities for the development of the Northern capital until 2030. The city continues to update rolling stock, optimize routes and introduce new technologies for passenger comfort.
Meanwhile, on the site where the lobby of the metro station "Theatrical", according to KGIOP, completed archaeological research.
