In Petrozavodsk will organize evening observations of the stars

Astronomy lovers from the Karelian capital will be able to explore the night sky in the company of like-minded people. The club "Asterion" announced the holding of "paving astronomy", which is scheduled for October 19.

The meeting will be held on the embankment of Lake Onega, next to the famous pyramid. The start of the event is scheduled for 19:00, and it will last about two hours. The organizers promise to show guests the moon, the rings of Saturn and scattering star clusters. Those who want not only to look through a telescope, but also to listen to a lecture on celestial bodies, are advised to come to the very beginning.

Important clarification: the event will take place only under favorable weather conditions. The final decision will be made on October 19 – follow the updates in the official public of Asterion in VKontakte after 16:00. Participants are encouraged to dress as warmly as possible.
