In school No. 2 of the city of Petushki, an environmental lesson was held for the participants of the Yunnata detachment "EcoR". It was organized by the regional waste management operator Charter. The meeting continued the program of acquaintance of schoolchildren with the movement of young naturalists: the children were awarded the first official certificates.
The lesson was held within the framework of the educational cycle of Charter company called “Take care of nature, sort waste”. The theme of the lesson was two buckets and one planet – students were taught why proper waste management is important for the environment.
Specialists told the young naturalists how solid municipal waste is formed, how much it accumulates and what are the ways of their collection, disposal and processing. The lesson was aimed at forming in children a responsible attitude to nature and understanding the importance of sorting garbage.
