The department explained that illegal kiosks can work without approval, do not pay taxes and rent, as well as violate sanitary requirements.
Since January 2026, it is forbidden to place non-stationary retail objects in the markets. More than 1,000 points have been dismantled, and markets continue to operate in capital buildings.
The authorities are also developing mobile commerce. Municipalities should allocate at least 30% of seats for it, and by 2030 the figure is planned to increase to 50%.
