The investigation of the criminal case against the 56-year-old individual entrepreneur has been completed. He is accused of violating labor protection requirements by a person entrusted with the obligations to comply with them, resulting in the death of a person through negligence, the SU TFR reports in the Perm Territory.
The investigation established that the entrepreneur did not provide training in logging in the prescribed manner, instruction and other activities required for this type of activity to his subordinates - employees of the logging brigade, and also did not ensure control over compliance with labor protection requirements during the performance of work. As a result of the inaction of the defendant in February during uncoordinated work, the roller, not knowing that another member of the brigade is in the danger zone, knocked down a tree that fell on the man. The victim died on the spot.
The criminal case has now been referred to court.
