In the Priozersky district found “green” waste and garbage cardboard with film

In Priozersk, next to the official garbage site, someone dumped a bunch of waste directly on the ground - about 30 cubic meters. Among the garbage: branches with leaves, and old tires, and cardboard, and film. The head of the Committee of state environmental supervision of the Leningrad region Ramila Agayeva issued a warning to the Administration of the Priozersky district on October 16. This became known from the website of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.

The environmental service of the Leningrad region received a call from a person who reported a garbage dump in the Priozersky district. Employees of Ekomilitsia came and on the street Youth found a large pile of garbage, which occupied about 30 cubic meters of land. The garbage was different: branches from trees, old tires from cars, cardboard and plastic bags. Everything was just dumped on the ground, not put in a container as it should. On-site inspections failed to determine who owned the waste or who placed it on the ground. However, the site is included in the list of places for storing household waste.

In the Leningrad region there are rules that tell how to handle garbage. These rules were adopted on November 22, 2021. For the cleanliness of places where garbage is collected, the local authorities are responsible. These can be landfills, special places for large dumpsters and the area around them. But sometimes other organizations may be responsible for this, for example, managing houses, cottages or garages.

Creation and maintenance of places of accumulation of solid municipal waste, as well as the adjacent territory shall be carried out by local self-government bodies in accordance with the legislation. The head of the Committee of the State Econavigation of the Leningrad region Ramila Agayeva announced a warning to the administration of the Priozersky district and demanded to eliminate all violations.

Earlier, “MK in the Leningrad region” wrote that in Utkina Zavod in the Sverdlovsk city settlement of the Vsevolozhsky district on October 23, a joint control event of the Committee and the State Traffic Inspectorate was held. The reason for the inspection was numerous complaints of local residents about illegal importation and subsequent incineration of waste.
