In the Pryazhinsky district allowed the shooting of a bear terrorizing Vedlozero

The local authorities of the Vedlozersk settlement confirmed that the regional Ministry of Natural Resources promptly responded to citizens’ complaints. In connection with the frequent visits of predators to settlements, hunters were issued a special license to hunt the beast. The document was issued on October 12.

Representatives of the administration stressed that they are keeping the situation under special control and await the results of the work of hunting brigades. Earlier, villagers expressed dissatisfaction with the inaction of officials: despite official statements about “control of the situation”, people continue to fear for their lives due to the regular appearance of bears near residential buildings.
