In Reshetnikovo after the visit of the gas service, the water level in the well fell

A resident of the Vyborg district left a complaint. According to her, after the work of the gas service, the water level in the well, from where she takes water, fell sharply. The warning of the administration of the Pervomaysky rural settlement of the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region was issued on October 6. In St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, including the Vyborg and Priozersky districts, the possible non-compliance with the laws on consumer and child protection is being checked. A resident of the village appealed to the local department of the consumer protection service with a complaint. She said that after the work of the gas service, the water level in the only well near her house fell significantly. The woman lives in the village of Reshetnikovo, Pervomaysk rural settlement, Vyborg district.

According to the law, local authorities are obliged to provide the population with electricity, heat, gas and water. So, the administration of the Pervomaysky rural settlement must ensure that the well was serviceable and provided the house of a local resident with water. The woman's complaint described violations that could lead to further water supply problems and mentioned laws that had been violated.

Head of the territorial department of the territorial body of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare Natalia Nikitenko warned the administration of the Pervomaysky rural settlement and instructed the administration to eliminate violations in accordance with Federal Law No. 131-FZ and provide all necessary services in the village.
