In Russia, a dangerous folk method of “treating” arthrosis, gout and other diseases with the help of live healer beetles is gaining popularity. As SHOT found out, hundreds of people on the Internet share instructions for breeding these insects and their reception schemes.
The course is based on the principle of “ladder”: start with one beetle per day, adding one daily until they reach 30, after which the number is reduced. It is noteworthy that initially these beetles are bred not for people, but as food for ant farms.
One of the fans of the method, who was diagnosed with coxarthrosis, swallowed 930 insects alive in two months. At the same time, she did not refuse the drugs prescribed by the doctor, and added beetles to them as a “folk remedy”.
There is no clinical evidence that eating beetles cures anything. Doctors strongly advise against changing proven therapy for such experiments. This “treatment” can result in severe allergies and other unhealthy reactions.
