In Russia registered a drug for the treatment of cancer

The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation issued a registration certificate for a new anti-tumor drug Nimolantsim (INN - nimotuzumab). The drug is intended for the treatment of cancer in adult patients.

The list of indications for use includes malignant processes in the head and neck, esophageal cancer, as well as some types of brain tumors. The basis for registration was the results of international clinical trials (Phase II-III). According to the experts, the inclusion of Nimolancim in the protocols of complex treatment significantly increases the effectiveness of the fight against the disease compared to standard methods.
