In Rostov, it is planned to dismantle the apartment house of the Sarievs to the second floor, as reported by the head of the city Alexander Scriabin.
According to the head of the city, after the dismantling of the six-storey building, its conservation will begin. On the morning of October 23, specialists noticed the facility, perhaps the work has already begun.
The building on the Big Garden, 94, was declared emergency. By the fall of 2026, it had deteriorated significantly, raising fears of a possible collapse. For safety, the area around the house was fenced with a signal tape. After the survey, experts decided to conduct emergency measures and preserve the object.
For these purposes, more than 55 million rubles will be allocated from the reserve fund of the city administration. Completion of work is planned by 2028.
The house was built in 1914 by architect Andrei Fedorovich Niedermeyer. The customers were sisters Olga and Elena Sariev, to whom it originally belonged. Later it became known as the "Profit House of G. P. Emelyanov" by the name of the last owner - the owner of the briche factory.
