Leninsky district court of Samara continues to hear testimony of witnesses in a high-profile criminal case on the activities of the so-called Government organized crime group

The Leninsky District Court of Samara continues to hear the testimony of witnesses in a high-profile criminal case about the activities of the so-called Government organized crime group.
The investigation accuses Viktor Kudryashov, former Finance Minister Andrei Pryamilov and former heads of the Ministry of Construction Nikolai Plaksin with Mikhail Aseev of abuse of office. According to investigators, the organized group artificially overestimated the estimated cost of construction of the metro station "Theater".
Due to the huge volume of materials, the final court decision is expected no earlier than next year.
This week, the rostrum was provided to ordinary employees of relevant departments who worked during the specified period. Earlier, local residents who suffered from large-scale construction work in the immediate vicinity of their homes gave their testimony.
The main organizer of the criminal community, the investigation considers Viktor Kudryashov, who consistently involved subordinate officials in machinations. Finance Minister Andrei Pryamilov died before the investigation was completed, but his role in the corruption scheme is fully documented.
To clarify the initial parameters of the construction of the underground object, the judge recently sent an official request to the Federal Ministry of Construction, reports Volga News.
