In Samara from 2027, veteran payments for housing have changed – they will be targeted

From January 1, 2027, the rules for providing veteran payments for improving housing conditions will change dramatically in Samara.

The new support measure will be strictly targeted and will require mandatory confirmation of financial need.

The right to receive funds will remain for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the disabled, widows of deceased combatants and former prisoners of concentration camps.

The key condition is now the level of per capita family income, which should not exceed two times the regional subsistence minimum.

In calculating this amount, all family members, including minor children and full-time students under 23 years of age, are taken into account. The total income will include pensions, salaries, benefits and any other social payments from budgets of all levels.

The deadline for filing applications has been significantly expanded, allowing citizens to apply for payment until June 15.

The formation of the lists of recipients was divided into two stages for a more even distribution of funds and accounting for all applications.

In addition, the package of necessary documents has been updated, including new forms of applications and consent to the processing of personal data, Samara reports.
