More than 5.5 million tons of grain were threshed by agricultural producers of the Saratov region - the yield indicator in the current season strengthened compared to last year and reached 27.6 centners per hectare. This is reported by the Governor of the region Roman Busargin.
The area of harvested fields approached 2 million hectares, which corresponds to 95.3% of the planned plan. A significant contribution to the overall result was made by the Kalininsky district - more than 332 thousand tons were collected there.
Five more territories exceeded the bar of 200 thousand tons: among them - Engels, Balashov, Pugachev, Ershov and Ekaterinovsky districts.
