In the Semyonovsk rural house of culture together with the library was painted nesting dolls

In the Semyonovsky rural House of Culture, together with the library, a painting of nesting dolls took place. The very first nesting doll has its “parents”: the talented turner Vasily Zvezdochkin, who carved it out of wood, and the artist Sergey Malyutin, who breathed life into it with the help of a brush and paints.
This traditional Russian toy is not just fun. A hollow wooden doll, hiding inside a whole family of smaller figures, symbolizes motherhood, a large and friendly family, the inseparable bond of generations. And she received her affectionate name from the popular name of Matryona.
In honor of this landmark event, a wonderful event was held in the Semyonovo Rural House of Culture together with the library. Children with great enthusiasm plunged into the world of folk art, painting nesting dolls in a bright and recognizable style of Khokhloma.
Thanks to the skill of young artists, all products turned out to be incredibly beautiful, bright and original, causing genuine delight among the participants. Each doll is a reflection of the soul of its creator.
