In the Serdob district detained a man with a large batch of marijuana

Serdob district police have received operational information that a local resident born in 1979 may be connected with drugs. That's confirmed. During a search in the house of the suspect, the guards found several bundles, a jar and flasks with a plant substance. All this was seized and sent for examination.

The study showed that the seized marijuana. Its mass exceeded 120 grams.

During the interrogation, the man confessed everything. He said he had accidentally spotted a wild cannabis plant near his home. He plucked parts of the plant, and then, succumbing to temptation, made the drug and kept it at home for himself.

On this fact opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 228 of the criminal code of Russia. This article provides for a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
