In Serpukhov honored the village elders
In the Palace of Culture "Russia" in Serpukhov, a solemn celebration of rural elders was held, timed to the Day of the Rural Starosta, which is celebrated on October 23
In total, there are 79 elders in the city district, nine of them have been awarded certificates, and ten more are preparing to accept this title. The Institute of rural elders in the suburbs is actively developing with the support of the Governor.
Those who are already in office, the head of Serpukhov Alexei Shimko, together with the chairman of the district Council of Deputies Mikhail Shulga, were awarded certificates for active participation in the life of their territories.
Roads, new playgrounds, FAPs, lighting – behind every transformation and implemented initiative is, of course, the work of the elders. Happy holiday. Thank you for your indifference, said Alexey Shimko.
The Village Starosta Day was established in the Moscow region in 2023 to motivate and draw attention to the activities of these representatives of local government.
