In Serpukhov, a team of resuscitators rescued a patient who survived clinical death amid anaphylactic shock. This is reported by “MK in Serpukhov”. The man was brought to the emergency department of the hospital by random witnesses - he was unconscious, breathing and heartbeat were absent, the pressure was not felt.
The cause of the disaster was a lightning-fast allergic reaction to insect venom. The situation was aggravated by the fact that the admission of the patient in the hospital was not known: he was not taken by ambulance, and the doctors did not have a second to prepare. Nevertheless, within moments the patient had the entire on-duty resuscitation team. The patient began an indirect massage of the heart, transferred it to an artificial ventilation apparatus and administered adrenaline. Resuscitation continued until the heart muscle started working again.
After that, the man was placed in the intensive care unit, where he was under continuous observation. The condition gradually improved, and eventually the patient was safely discharged. Doctors warn: at the first sign of an allergic reaction after an insect bite, you should immediately call an ambulance, and not take a person to the hospital on your own.
