In Serpukhov immortalized the memory of Yuri Luzhkov
In the city district of Serpukhov, a solemn opening of a memorial sign in honor of Yuri Mikhailovich Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, took place. The memorial plaque was installed on the territory of one of the leading agricultural enterprises in the region - the agricultural holding Dashkovka. The event was timed to the 90th anniversary of the birth of a statesman.

The history of the creation and development of the agricultural holding is inextricably linked with the name of Luzhkov. Thanks to his initiative and support programs implemented during the leadership of the capital, the active formation of large agro-industrial complexes began in the Moscow region. These farms have become reliable suppliers of fresh and quality products for Moscow families, ensuring the food security of the city.
The author of the memorial plaque was made by local sculptor Ilya Dyukov. His work captures the image of a politician who has always paid great attention to the development of agriculture and the support of producers near Moscow.
The opening ceremony was attended by the management of the agricultural holding, representatives of the local administration, employees of the enterprise and residents of the district. The participants noted the invaluable contribution of Yuri Luzhkov to strengthening ties between Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as to the development of the agricultural sector, which is still one of the pillars of the regional economy.
