In Serpukhov completed the case of the murder of a newborn

In Serpukhov completed the investigation into the murder of a newborn girl. The defendant is a 29-year-old woman. She is suspected of killing her newborn daughter.

The investigation found that in April 2026, the accused, being in an apartment in the village of Bolshevik, gave birth to a girl. She then stabbed the newborn and disposed of the body, leaving it behind a waste collection site in the yard of high-rise buildings.

During the joint work of investigators, criminologists and operatives, it was possible to establish a woman in labor as soon as possible. Experts conducted a study on the seized objects and tracks: the DNA profile of the newborn coincided with the profile of a citizen of one of the neighboring states, previously registered as part of mandatory genomic registration. The investigator conducted more than 20 interrogations, obtained the conclusions of forensic, psychological-psychiatric, molecular-genetic and medico-criminalistic examinations.
