In six districts of the Ulyanovsk region on October 17 will remain high fire danger

According to the forecast of the regional department of Emergencies, the probability of natural fires is estimated as high.

The most tense situation is expected in the southern part of the region. The fourth class of fire danger is predicted in Kuzovatov, Novospasskoye, Radishchev and Starokulatkinsky districts, as well as in Nikolaev and Pavlovsk municipal districts.

In the rest of the region, the third class will remain in the forests. Under such conditions, there is a risk of grassroots fires, in which the fire spreads over grass, forest litter and shrubs.

One of the possible causes of fire experts call careless handling of fire. In particular, the danger is the breeding of fires, burning of firewood and arson of dry vegetation near forests and settlements.

Residents of the region should comply with fire safety rules, especially when being in nature and carrying out work on homesteads. Even a small source of open fire under adverse conditions can cause dry vegetation to ignite.
