A 68-year-old local woman has contacted the police department. She received a phone call from unknown persons who identified themselves as law enforcement officers and was convinced that her account allegedly financed prohibited activities.

According to the investigation, the pensioner was offered to transfer all savings to a trusted person for declaration. The woman fulfilled the instructions and lost more than 500 thousand rubles. Realizing that she had been deceived, she went to the police.
As a result of operational-search activities, criminal investigation officers detained the suspect, who acted as a courier. A criminal case has been opened under the article on fraud. The defendant was selected a preventive measure in the form of a subscription not to leave. The police identify accomplices and other episodes of illegal activity.
