In school No 4 Apatitov opened a VR-laboratory for career guidance

At school No. 4, Apatitov earned a career guidance laboratory "VR-profticum", where students can get acquainted with popular professions using virtual reality. The equipment was purchased on the grant of the Russian Society “Knowledge”, which the educational institution received for winning the III All-Russian competition of initiatives of parent communities. This was reported in the administration of the city of Apatity.

The lab is located in a robotics office. At the disposal of schoolchildren - 15 VR-glasses and special software that allows you to try yourself in 10 professions in demand in the Murmansk region.

The first participants of the classes were students of 9-11 grades. With the help of virtual reality, they got acquainted with the work of a turner, solved professional tasks and made their own part in a digital environment.

For the work of the laboratory trained teachers, laboratory assistants and parents. The organizers hope that the joint work of the school and the family will help teenagers better learn different specialties and consciously choose their future profession.
