On the eve of the Liberation Day of Melitopol, “Victory Volunteers” held a memorable lesson in the Konstantinov School No. 1.
Schoolchildren were opened the pages of military history: they explained why Melitopol was called the “iron gate of the Crimea”, told about the Votan border and with special trepidation about the feat of the crew of the T-70 tank under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Gavryushov.
A special response from the guys was caused by a meeting with a soldier of Regardie - a fighter with the call sign "Prepod". He spoke about the service and showed how the echo of the Great Patriotic War echoes in today’s everyday life of the country’s defenders.
Such meetings not only acquaint young people with history, they help them to truly feel what loyalty to the Motherland, strength of spirit and real courage are.
