In the Smolensk Poozerie rescued the swan crook

On the territory of the national park "Smolensk Poozerie" successfully completed a specialized operation to rescue an injured swan. Specialists carried out complex measures to rescue the bird from the reservoir located near the village of Pristav.

The rescue efforts were attended by divers and cynologists, who acted in close cooperation with the staff of the Aistenok bird protection center. The coordinated work of this group made it possible to safely remove the swan from the water and quickly transfer it to the hands of ornithologists for the provision of necessary veterinary care and subsequent rehabilitation.

Such joint actions clearly demonstrate the high efficiency of interaction between professional rescuers and environmental organizations in preserving the biodiversity of the region. The operation in Smolensk Poozero once again confirms that timely response to signals of assistance to wild animals significantly increases their chances of recovery. After undergoing a full course of treatment and recovery, the bird is expected to be able to return to its natural habitat.
