In the Smolensk region formed a comprehensive system of support for families with children

At a meeting of the headquarters for fertility in the Government of the Smolensk region, the head of the Center for Support of Large Families of the region Elena Prachkina noted the transition from disparate allowances to a single seamless system of care for families. Within two years, according to the decision of Governor Vasily Anokhin, maternity wards in all the Central Bank of the region will be overhauled, duty groups in kindergartens and extensions in schools will be expanded for young and student families, and regional enterprises are actively implementing flexible schedules and corporate payments for working parents. The positive dynamics is confirmed by federal data: the head of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov noted the increase in the total fertility rate in the Smolensk region, which is facilitated by the project “Gift to a newborn” and housing programs.
