On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, the Smolensk region was among the 20 regions where branches of the All-Russian public-state organization “Children’s Protection Fund” will appear. The new unit will be located on the basis of the Phoenix Center for Family and Children Assistance on Rylenkov Street in Smolensk and will support parents in crisis situations, introduce modern social approaches and prevent children from entering inpatient institutions, complementing the work of the Second Breath and Exit Family Crisis Centers already operating in the region.
