In Smolevichy, two high-rise buildings are being built for Minsk residents, two more houses are planned

Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Alexander Chernikov met with the staff of the Minsk City Executive Committee within the framework of a single day of information, the key topic of which is “Traditional values of Belarusians: family, society, state” on October 15, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

- Today, more than 2.6 million families live in Belarus, 43.7% of them are raising children under 18, Chernikov said.

The main task of society and the state is to raise the prestige of responsible parenthood, to form a culture where the child is perceived not as a threat to comfort, but as a value.

- In the area of special attention, of course, large parents. The situation with providing them with square meters in the capital has recently changed dramatically, Chernikov said. Only three years ago, about 5.2 thousand such families were registered in need, and today their number has decreased to 2.9 thousand. And they are sent for construction within a year or two after installation. There are cases when people complain that they have not received offers for housing for years. However, the analysis of such situations shows that either citizens are not registered at all, or they have been repeatedly offered options that they have refused.

Discussing the state of affairs in the industry, Chernikov noted: UKS Minsk City Executive Committee rightfully retains the status of one of the flagships of the construction complex of the capital. Over the years, the team has implemented many large-scale projects that radically changed the appearance of the city. Among them are the Palace of the Republic, the buildings of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and the Supreme Court, the National Library of Belarus, the Hotel Europe, Minsk Arena, etc. For a significant contribution to the development of the profile sphere and high production achievements, the company has repeatedly received prestigious awards, including government ones.

- Today, Minsk-World is building a kindergarten for 230 places with a swimming pool. In this part of the city, there will be another preschool education institution, which is now in the design stage. We will begin its construction in 2027, said Angela Bobarico, Director of the Mingory Executive Committee. Due attention is paid to the construction of housing for waiting lists. Among the specific locations are the Northern, Loshitsa-10 microdistricts (there are also rental apartments). In 2027, we will begin to develop the territory near Kolodishchi, where a new residential area of Green Bor will grow.

Among the priority areas is the development of the satellite city Smolevichi. Currently, work continues on the construction of the third stage of the second quarter for Minsk residents. Now two high-rise buildings are being built, their commissioning is planned in 2027. The plans include two more high-rises and a preschool. In addition, experts are already engaged in the design of the third quarter - "New Garden".

At the end of the meeting, everyone had the opportunity to ask the Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee interesting questions. We discussed the registration of those who need to improve housing conditions, the adjustment of legislation and a number of other production issues.

The importance of such meetings for building effective interaction between the city leadership and specialists on the ground was noted by the leading engineer of the administration of the UKS Minsk City Executive Committee Andrei Shubenok.

- Such events allow any employee to directly ask questions without having to make an appointment. And the topics are raised a variety of, not only production, shared A. Shubenok. In addition, the management of the Minsk City Executive Committee directly brings up-to-date information about the development of Minsk in various areas to the labor collectives. The format of direct dialogue has proved to be effective, so we would like to see such meetings held on a regular basis.
