In Sochi, a single contract for garbage disposal is being prepared
In the Krasnodar region discussed the further implementation of the reform of the solid municipal waste management system

In Krasnodar Krai, further implementation of the reform of the solid municipal waste management system was discussed. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Patrushev. The discussion was attended by the head of Sochi Andrey Prosbynin.
According to the mayor, in September, the city authorities considered in detail the problems in the field of waste management and, following the results of the workshop, made decisions, and the regional operator was instructed to carry out the necessary measures. The priority now remains the timely execution of these instructions.
In Sochi, there are about 1,400 waste storage sites. Their condition is monitored around the clock by working groups. In addition, city services daily monitor the actual output of garbage trucks and compliance with the timing of waste removal. Information about the situation is transmitted to the regional Ministry and the Russian environmental operator.
Another area of work is the finalization of the Comprehensive Sanitary Situation Stabilization Plan until 2030.
From 2027, Sochi plans to move to a single annual contract for the export of MSW. According to the city authorities, this approach will allow to centralize logistics management, take into account the real load on the system and increase control over compliance with schedules.
The city authorities emphasize that the timely removal of garbage remains one of the priorities in ensuring the sanitary state of the resort.
Earlier it was reported that in Sochi revealed cases of illegal discharge of wastewater.
