In Sochi, prepare for the opening of the rink with innovative coating

In December, on the eve of the New Year holidays, a skating rink is planned to open in the concert hall "Festivalny". He will return to the venue for the first time in three decades.

The new space will be different from the usual ice arenas. Instead of natural ice, modern synthetic coating is used here, designed for operation in warm climates. This solution will allow you to organize skating without the need to maintain a traditional ice cover.

The main equipment has already been installed, the sides and covering have been installed. Now specialists are engaged in the arrangement of premises for storage of things and rental of inventory.

The return of the rink has not only practical, but also symbolic significance. For many Sochi residents, "Festivalny" is associated with memories of childhood, so the project is designed to restore the tradition familiar to citizens and at the same time create a modern place for family leisure.

The city authorities are also considering the possibility of training in figure skating at the new site. The issue is especially relevant on the eve of 2027, which Sochi plans to devote to the Olympic triumph.

Earlier it was reported that in Adler modernize the largest automobile checkpoint of Russia.
