In Sochi and Sirius, the sea is expected to surge to 5 points

In Sochi and on the federal territory of Sirius, a sharp deterioration in the weather is expected. This was reported in the press service of the resort administration. Forecasters predict a strong turbulence of the sea.

According to meteorologists, already in the evening of October 18 and throughout the day on October 19, 4-5 points are expected on the coast. The wave height can reach from 2 to 3.5 meters.

In connection with the bad weather, the city authorities appealed to residents and tourists with a recommendation to refrain from resting on the shore, piers and in the mouths of the rivers. In the event of a dangerous situation, call the emergency number 112 immediately.

The swimming season at the resort is already over, but tourists continue to walk by the sea. Rescuers urged not to risk their lives and not to ignore the warnings of weather forecasters.
