In Sochi, utilities removed 4.7 thousand tons of garbage for a week

Sochi city services summed up the results of the weekly work. For seven days, utilities processed more than a hundred messages from residents from social networks, eliminated dozens of accidents on engineering networks and continued repair of urban infrastructure.

The most significant amount of emergency work fell on the water supply and sanitation system. Specialists of the water utility eliminated 78 leaks and 111 sewer blockages. Reconstruction of problematic sections of pipelines on several streets of the resort continues.

During the week, about 4.7 thousand tons of municipal solid waste were removed from urban container sites. Every day, an average of 74 garbage trucks and other units of specialized equipment went to the line.

In parallel, employees of Vodostok cleaned 7.4 km of storm sewerage on 43 streets. Heat power engineers eliminated emergency situations and replaced 97 meters of pipelines.

The road industry continues the construction of sidewalks on Pasechnaya Street and the renovation of asphalt pavement on several city streets.

The administration stressed that before the start of the heating season, special attention is paid to the technical condition of the heating networks of apartment buildings.
