In Sochi, replaced 150 lamps and restored lighting on two streets

In Sochi completed work on the restoration of outdoor lighting on the street Constitution of the USSR in the area of the Department of traffic inspection and on the street Plastunskaya near the house No. 123. Utilities specialists replaced 150 failed lighting fixtures and restored the power supply to the previously idle lighting group. This was reported in the municipal control center of Sochi.

During the restoration measures, the workers installed three new passage supports necessary for the functioning of the lamp lighting. After the installation work, the specialists provided electricity to the group of lamps, which had not been operated for a long time.

In addition, a large-scale replacement of lighting equipment was carried out. In total, utilities dismantled and replaced 150 faulty lights. According to the ICU, the equipment failed due to prolonged downtime. After the completion of technical measures, outdoor lighting in these areas was restored.

The work of street lighting is of particular importance in the autumn-winter period, when the duration of daylight is reduced. Lighted roads and surrounding areas create more comfortable conditions for pedestrians and motorists. At the same time, the actual impact of the work performed on road safety will depend on the characteristics of lighting and the conditions of specific sections.

The Municipal Control Center of Sochi reported that the restored lamps are working normally.
