In Stavropol, the heating season starts on October 20, the head of the regional capital Ivan Ulyanchenko said.

“From tomorrow, warmth will begin to flow to homes, organizations and businesses. Let me remind you, this procedure is phased and can take 2-3 days, the mayor said.

Preparation of urban economy for the autumn-winter period was conducted in advance. By the coming winter, 2,440 apartment buildings were surveyed in Stavropol, boiler houses, about 217 km of thermal and 2,935 km of electric networks were prepared.

In addition, the specialists examined and diagnosed pumping stations of water and sewerage, transformer substations, distribution points and gas pipelines – all this is necessary for the reliable operation of municipal infrastructure in winter.

The work on preparing for the cold has been completed in full. The heat in the houses of Stavropol residents will be fed in stages.
