In Tambov under the hammer went historic wooden house

In the Tambov region, an object of cultural heritage of regional importance – a “residential house”, located at the intersection of Bazarnaya and Kuibyshev streets (136/76) was sold. The building, which is a vivid example of the historical development of the Tambov province, found a new owner following the auction.

The wooden house reflects the characteristic features of urban architecture of the late XIX - early XX century. However, its value is not only architectural: the building is associated with the names of the famous benefactor Alexander Anosov, to whom it belonged, and the first chairman of the Tambov provincial executive committee Mikhail Chichkanov, who lived here during the Soviet period.

It should be noted that the work on the preservation and involvement in the circulation of cultural heritage objects is carried out on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the task, by 2030 at least 1000 monuments throughout the country should be brought to a satisfactory condition.

According to the regional department for state protection of cultural heritage sites, the share of monuments in unsatisfactory condition in the Tambov region is 10%, which is below the Russian average of 14%. To attract investors, information about such objects is posted on the federal platform. The starting price of the purchase, according to the law, is symbolic - only 1 ruble, but the main condition is to carry out restoration work in the prescribed time.
