In Tambov completed the repair of streets Chichkanov and Boris Vasiliev

In Tambov, the repair of two city streets – Chichkanov and Boris Vasiliev – came to an end. Nearly 1.4 km of roads have been brought to a regulatory state under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. At the finish line came the work on the street Moskovskaya, which leads to the regional clinical hospital.

On Boris Vasiliev Street - on a 952-meter stretch from Moscow to Chichkanov - road workers removed the worn-out coating, adjusted the wells of engineering networks and laid new asphalt concrete. Along the roadway, energy-saving lamps were mounted, new road signs, barrier and pedestrian fences were installed. Now drivers and pedestrians feel more confident at any time of the day.

Chichkanov Street on the stretch from Soviet to Boris Vasiliev with a length of 428 meters received new coverage not only on the roadway, but also in parking lots and in stop pockets. Specialists replaced the side stone, completely moved the sidewalks on both sides of the street and equipped the technical sidewalk. For public transport passengers, three new stop pavilions were installed, long-lasting thermoplastic markings were applied to the road, and the surrounding area was landscaped.

Repair of Chichkanov, Boris Vasiliev and Moskovsky streets is carried out under a single contract, work began on May 19. Synchronous updating of three adjacent streets together with intersections and adjoining will allow to put in order a whole fragment of the street-road network of the Oktyabrsky district, rather than separate disparate sections.

Now the final stage of work is on Moskovskaya Street - from the Soviet to the passage of the Installers, it is almost 1.9 km. Since the end of September, the upper layer of asphalt concrete is laid here. For the city, this is one of the most significant objects of the season: the street leads to the Tambov Regional Clinical Hospital named after V.D. Babenko, where patients from all over the region come. The hospital has increased the number of running pockets. In addition, the area along the road is freed from non-capital buildings, sidewalks are expanded to two meters, and the lighting is changed to LED. The contracting organization remained to put in order the adjoining, install signs, fences, stopping pavilions and lamps. The work on Moscow will be completed before November 2.
