The Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin at the 25th meeting of the State Council of the Republic announced the effectiveness of the federal experiment, in which ninth-graders could limit themselves to the delivery of two OGE subjects instead of the standard four. More than 3,500 schoolchildren from 44 municipalities took part in this initiative aimed at facilitating access to secondary vocational education (SPE), which covered 7.5% of the total number of students.
According to the head of the department, the project has proved its relevance: applicants actively use the opportunity to enter colleges and technical schools on a shortened list of exams. Special attention is paid to the training of personnel for key sectors of the economy: engineering, agriculture, energy, oil and gas industry, construction and transport. Training in these areas is organized on the basis of 52 specialized institutions in 40 specialties and working professions.
Statistics show that 60% of graduates of ninth grades of Tatarstan today give preference to the SPO system. The simplification of the certification procedure makes this choice more accessible.
Recall that the pilot project, launched earlier in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Lipetsk region, this year covered 12 subjects of the Russian Federation.
