In the talk show “Alone with Borovik” discussed how flying cars and humanoid robots change everyday life

The American company Tesla introduced a flying car Tesla Roadster. Polina Konoga, a political commentator of SB. Belarus Today, and political scientist Vadim Borovik, on the air of the program “Alone with Borovik” on SBTV, discussed how such developments affect interest in science and life in general, writes sb.by.

Vadim Borovik noted that modern technologies are impressive, especially if you remember that 20 years ago such cars did not exist:

- Now the car can safely park on its own, and you do not even sit in the car. This is, in principle, perhaps another incentive to live — to see how it all develops. You can also participate. We are even creating an Academy of High Technologies, the decision has already been made, the first students are being recruited. Including so that we can create it at home: someone in the automotive industry, someone in biotechnology. Very breakthrough discoveries will happen soon, we need to follow the news. Our country and our intellectuals can participate in making the world more interesting. It is an incentive to live and participate in these processes.

Polina Konoga added that astrologers also predict a period of discovery and development of science:

- I listened to the predictions of astrologers who consider the processes taking place in the world. Some of the planets, I do not remember, whether Pluto or Neptune, is entering a phase of 20 years, where the incentive for discoveries, the development of science and medicine is laid. They say that in 20 years we will all be surprised.

Vadim Borovik noted that astrology is an ancient science and observation, but the main thing is real achievements

- Of course, it's exciting when you see new technologies that allow you to do things for peaceful purposes. They will also be used as dual-use products. This is an incentive for us, Belarus and our allies to innovate in the same way. Look at China, the technology is very interesting. What we once saw in movies about humanoid robots, today we see in reality. Scientists are trying to make latex or other components and skin, and humanoid robots. Life is getting more interesting. The main thing is that all this is for the benefit of humanity and is used for peaceful purposes as much as possible.
