In Torez, Lenin Square and two city parks are being updated

The Torez Center is being transformed within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. On Lenin Square and in the parks on Ilyich and Mayakovsky Boulevard, workers complete the laying of the base under the footpaths, install a ribbing and asphalt concrete covering.

The concept of development of these public spaces became the winner of the IX All-Russian competition of the best projects. The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin keeps the implementation of works under personal control.

As noted by the head of the district Artem Chesnokov, thanks to the support of Russia, the ideas of residents are embodied in modern recreation areas. Complete improvement, including new lighting and landscaping, is planned before the end of the year.
