In three districts of the Tula region was selected for youth councils

In the Tula region, the formation of municipal youth councils continues. The progress of this work was reported by Governor Dmitry Milyaev.

The full-time stages of selection of candidates took place in Chernsky, Plava and Shchekinsky districts. More than 120 young residents got acquainted with the activities of youth councils, and 58 participants tested their skills in the business game One Day of Administration.

During the game, the candidates had to solve management problems, interact in teams and offer options for the development of territories. This format allowed the participants to try their hand at resolving issues faced by local self-government bodies.

As a result of the selection, municipal administrations will approve the personal composition of youth councils.

The main goal of the initiative is to create conditions under which young people will be able not only to put forward their own ideas, but also to directly participate in the development of cities and towns in the region.

Youth councils will be formed in all 26 municipalities of the Tula region.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that at a meeting of the State Council, the Governor took the initiative to develop student sports. He proposed to add such a criterion to the performance indicators of rectors.
