The Government of the Tula region signed a resolution amending and supplementing the resolution of January 20, 2025 “On the annual awards of the Government of the Tula region to the best young scientists”.
Prizes are now awarded in two categories: (a) "For applied developments and their implementation in production" - 1 million rubles (maximum 3 prizes); (b) "For achievements in research" - 200 thousand rubles (maximum 10 prizes).
In the research nomination, the awards are divided into two categories of 5 pieces each: Natural, Medical, Technical Sciences; Humanities and Social Sciences.
Citizens of the Russian Federation who live in the territory of the Tula region, work in organizations operating in the region, are postgraduate students or candidates of sciences and have not reached 36 years of age on the date of application, or doctoral students or doctors of sciences and have not reached 40 years of age are allowed to participate in the competition.
In addition, the procedure for creating competition commissions (separately for each nomination) was clarified. Applications are accepted only on paper in one copy. Mandatory registration of applications on the day of receipt has been introduced. We also determined a clear procedure for forming ranking lists and determining winners. A new item on informing applicants has been added: notifications about changing the status of the application are sent within 3 working days through the channel chosen by the participant (telephone, messenger, e-mail or mail).
Participants will also be able to assess the availability and quality of the competition on the official website of the Committee.
As previously wrote “MK in Tula”, the Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev outlined the key factors in stimulating young Tula scientists.
