In the capital of Buryatia, sand spreaders and tractors-brushes of the Plant for landscaping will work around the clock until the end of snowfall. The focus will be on areas where the highest risk of ice and road accidents.
A mobile cleaning team is also on duty in the city centre. Employees quickly sprinkle sand climbs, without waiting for the arrival of special equipment.
In all areas of the city installed 162 stationary boxes with sand. This year, 10 additional boxes of increased volume were built and placed. All containers are filled with inert materials.
Due to the restrictions established by the law on the protection of Lake Baikal, sand and gravel are used in Ulan-Ude to combat ice. However, under the wheels of cars, the sprinkle spreads quickly, so in difficult areas it has to be repeated.
First of all, road services will handle stopping pockets, steep descents and ascents, intersections and pedestrian paths. If an additional sprinkle is required on any site, this can be reported through the chatbot of the Improvement Plant.
