Communications will be laid under the courtyard of two apartment buildings and the road leading to school No. 82. Thanks to the use of trenchless technology, traffic is planned to be preserved.
On the street of Samara, specialists began to update the sewer networks of Ulyanovskvodokanal. Currently, excavation work is underway in the area of house No. 11, where the contractor is engaged in replacing the worn-out section of the pipeline.
A feature of the project is the way of laying communications. Instead of large-scale excavations, specialists use trenchless technology, which allows pipes to be carried underground without opening the pavement throughout the site.
Thus, the works will affect the territory of the common courtyard of houses No. 11 and 13, as well as the area under the highway, through which the entrance to school No. 82 is carried out. At the same time, asphalt flooring is planned to be preserved, and traffic will not be blocked.
In addition to replacing the sewer pipe, the contractor will increase the length of the protective case from 31 to 44 meters. An additional 13 meters of construction will better protect the main pipeline from mechanical stress and external influences.
The progress of the repair was reported by the Chairman of the Ulyanovsk City Duma Ilya Nozhechkin. He noted that the quality of work and compliance with deadlines are under the control of deputies and local residents.
