In Ulyanovsk began to use new equipment to detect urological diseases

In the Central clinical health care unit named after V. A. Egorov, new equipment for the diagnosis of urological diseases appeared. It will allow doctors to notice even small changes in tissues and quickly identify dangerous pathologies.

The modern endoscopic system "Endomedium +" was installed in the surgical department of polyclinic No. 2. The equipment is equipped with a high-resolution camera, a monitor and a special device for examining the bladder - a cystoscope.

With the new system, doctors will be able to detect tumors, polyps, stones and inflammatory diseases. If necessary, during the examination, a tissue sample can be taken for analysis.

According to urologist Imil Shagvaliev, the equipment has already helped to detect a bladder tumor in the patient and determine further treatment tactics.

The new technique will allow to carry out part of diagnostic procedures on an outpatient basis, without hospitalization. In some cases, the examination can be carried out in one day.

Cystoscopy can be performed for medical reasons. To do this, you will need a referral in form No057 / y from the clinic at the place of residence.
