Volgograd doctors called the causes of lung cancer
The health Committee of the Volgograd region revealed what non-obvious factors can trigger the mechanism of cancer, which people face daily in everyday life and in the workplace

Smoking remains the undisputed leader among provocateurs: tobacco smoke with its carcinogens is inhaled by about 90% of patients with this diagnosis. However, even if a person has never held a cigarette in his hands, he is not immune from danger.
A significant risk is borne by workers of harmful industries, forced to constantly come into contact with asbestos, silicon dust and radioactive isotopes.
An insidious enemy is the invisible radon gas, which can penetrate the body through tap water, air and even building materials, forming pathological changes at the cellular level.
The environmental situation is no less threatening. Residents of large cities suffer from lung cancer more often than villagers, as daily inhale air saturated with industrial waste and exhaust gases.
At the same time, the internal factors of the body also play a critical role: chronic diseases of the bronchi, accompanied by constant inflammation, can lead to dangerous changes in cells.
Finally, the hereditary factor cannot be excluded, since certain genetic mutations and features of protein structures from birth greatly increase the likelihood of degeneration of healthy cells into cancer cells.
