Ulyanovsk plans to improve disease prevention taking into account the experience of the St. Petersburg forum
The Central City Clinical Hospital of Ulyanovsk will consider the possibility of introducing new methods of disease prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients

The Central City Clinical Hospital of Ulyanovsk will consider the possibility of introducing new methods of disease prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients. The relevant proposals will be prepared following the results of the XIV St. Petersburg International Health Forum, in which Ivan Dementyev, Deputy Chief Physician of the medical institution, took part.
One of the main areas of work will be the study of modern approaches to the organization of preventive care in clinics. Special attention will be paid to individual counseling of patients who have an increased risk of developing chronic diseases, as well as improving the work of health schools.
In addition, Ivan Dementiev got acquainted with the experience of adult health centers and long-term medical surveillance systems. Separately, issues of early detection of breast diseases and recovery of patients after treatment of cancer, including with the use of telemedicine technologies, were considered.
Another topic of the forum was medical care for military personnel. At the conference "Military medicine of the XXI century" experts discussed stage treatment, rehabilitation after injuries and psychological support. The presented solutions can be useful in improving assistance to participants in a special military operation.
Within the framework of the exhibition "Medical Industry", the representative of the Ulyanovsk hospital also studied modern diagnostic devices and digital systems designed for rehabilitation and remote monitoring of patients' health.
As Ivan Dementyev noted, participation in such events allows medical organizations to adopt successful practices and determine directions for further development.
"For polyclinics, approaches that help not only to detect diseases in a timely manner, but also to work with risk factors, to support a person in maintaining health are especially important," the deputy chief physician emphasized.
The XIV St. Petersburg International Health Forum was held in St. Petersburg and brought together specialists who discussed active longevity, preventive medicine, rehabilitation and the introduction of digital technologies in healthcare.
The materials received at the event will become the basis for preparing proposals for improving the work of the Central City Clinical Hospital of Ulyanovsk. At the same time, the specific timing of the introduction of new practices is not yet known.
