In the Ulyanovsk region until October 30 will remain high fire danger
From 24 to 30 October in the southern regions of the Ulyanovsk region is predicted a high risk of forest fires

From October 24 to October 30, a high risk of forest fires is predicted in the southern regions of the Ulyanovsk region. Forecasters warn about the fourth class of fire danger. In this regard, city services are transferred to the mode of increased attention to possible fires.
On behalf of the head of Ulyanovsk Alexander Boldakin, municipal specialists are strengthening monitoring the fire hazard situation. Particular attention is paid to areas where natural fires can pose a threat to residential buildings and other facilities.
About 70 kilometers of mineralized strips were created to protect settlements from the spread of fire. Such areas of vegetation-free land help to contain the movement of grassroots fires and reduce the likelihood of flames passing to built-up areas.
At the same time, preventive work continues in the regional center. In schools and kindergartens, on behalf of the mayor, classes are organized, where children in a playful manner explain the basic rules of fire safety.
Residents of the region are reminded to use caution when handling fire. In particular, you should not burn garbage in the country and garden areas, make fires in the forests and set fire to dry grass.
If a natural fire is detected, you must immediately report the incident to the emergency services by calling 101 or 112. It is dangerous to approach large fires on your own.
The fourth class of fire hazard means a high risk of occurrence and spread of fire in the natural environment. Elementary precautions are therefore particularly important during an unfavorable prognosis.
